Duvie Westcott

Duvie Westcott grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and played his youth hockey with the Tuxedo Express and AAA Winnipeg Monarchs. In Highschool he played his junior and senior years for the St. Paul’s Crusaders in Manitoba. He went on to play his Junior hockey in the MJHL for the Winnipeg South Blues and accepted a scholarship from the University of Alaska Anchorage. After a semester, he decided to leave Alaska to join the Omaha Lancers in the USHL with the hopes of transferring to a new College team.
After a successful playoff with Omaha, leading to a Clark Cup championship, Duvie accepted a scholarship to play for St.Cloud State in Minnesota. He played 2 seasons with St. Cloud State and was then signed as a free agent by the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he would go on to play the next 7 seasons with the organization, with a pit stop in the SM Liga in Finland during the 2004 NHL lockout season.
After parting ways with the Bluejackets, Duvie went overseas to continue his career, where he played seasons in the top leagues in Russia, Switzerland, and Germany and was fortunate to play in the Spengler Cup with three different teams, one of them being Team Canada in 2011.

His coaching focuses on training players to read the game like professionals, using real-game scenarios and repetition to sharpen their decision-making on the ice.
Andy now resides in Frisco, TX, with his wife, Alexis, and their two children.
